... a domain of thought and action wherein ignorance is alleviated, power is reapportioned, and history is both made and reexamined. Not a platform or a specific prescription, but an intention, a trajectory, a motive. Feminist minds, male and female alike, take care to evaluate and ground their own and others' assumptions. They believe in the beauty, power, and necessity of women's voices, lives, and art; and they further that belief.
